Engaged Encounter Day 1

What is Engaged Eounter? To us, it is just a 3 day course that we, Catholic must attend in order to get the certificate to marry in the Church. We dragged our tire body into the ME House at Punggol on Friday night. The main theme " A Wedding is a day, A Marriage is a lifetime". Little we did know that after the registration & settling down in our rooms, we had to start the presentation immediately. Father Joachim together with 2 presenting couples, Joseph & Terri and Daniel & Karen were there to brief and present for the rest of the course. Initially, its was pretty bored..listening to presenting couples sharing their life story. Joseph and Terri were the two lovely bees with 8 kids range from 17yrs to 2 yrs...(wow to answer to God..Pro Life - No Condoms) ...Daniel and Karen were to the sweety bear newly married with a small little boy. Each of us were given a notebook to answer and share on the question sheet given after each presentation. The sharing we wrote must be open and honest. During sharing, we read abt each others feeling and whatever we have done, we also confessed on whatever we have or have not done good enough. There were at times I cried beacuse the sharing I read really touches my heart and I was too emotional as well. After a few session of sharing, we ended with a prayer session follow by supper...Then we proceeded back to our rooms to have a shower and ZzzzZzz.... --------Day1, 10.12.04---------
