Wayne is above AVERAGE

Imagine carrying a 9kg baby in your hands for 1 hour without resting. Guess what is the result? You will wake up the next morning finding your hand cramp and in pain, then you will start wondering where did you got the pain from?

The other day when we went to Ang Mo Kio hub, I decided to carry him to walk down the shopping centre, looking at toys and some educational stuff for him. We ended up after 1 hr buying a small little cap for him and only realised my hand was a little numb.

I told Roy that this little Wayne has put on weight a fair bit these few weeks. He too realised that he was no longer the small little baby we used to carry him for hours.

His Development so far at 7 1/2 mths at 9.1kg:-

- Making Sounds: Wayne can spend like ONE WHOLE HOUR talking in baby talk. He can make a different array of sounds like “Ah, ooo, oh.." , sometimes he scream loudly when he sees Mummy and Daddy.

- Increase Size: Wayne put on alot of baby fat on his cheeks, his arms and thighs since the 3rd month. So much so that when you wash him, you have to pry open the lines in between to get rid of the dirt stuck inside. Baby fat only though. Not Michilin Baby kind of fat.

- Toughened Back: Wayne can now sit upright without much support on his back

- Increased muscle movement and control: He has learnt how to shift and rotate his body when lying down. Wayne was put him in hammock the other day and we found him sitting when he woke up. He is able to run about the house of course with the aid of his walker.

- Dental Care: Wayne has the bottom teeth at 4 months, by 8 weeks the upper teeth should appear, but it seems like the gums are full the teeth are no where in sight yet...His first dental visit should occur next week.

- BEHAVIORAL DEVELOPMENTS:- Extrovet baby (seems like this chacter is very diff from Dad and Mum). He can throw his trantrum when not being fed on tme. He HATES medicine for sure and cries whenever he sees the bag of medicine coming towards him. When comes to reading bedtime story and singing nursery Rhythm he enjoys alot. He favourite show is no other than BARNEY. He can sit there quietly all by himself moving his body away together with the music.
